Hi, I
just happened to stumble on the Mutia website. I
am very proud that the Mutia legacy exists. I am
from a Mutia family of Aloran, Misamis Occidental.
My father was well known in the Province of Mis.
Occ (having served as the Chief of Police of
Aloran, an Army Officer during WWII and former
Bureau of Customs Inspector). I do treasure the
family name Mutia very much, although I have
carried an American name now. I have raised my
children to have the Mutia values and I am proud
to say that they do show a lot of the Mutia
characteristics. I am proud to tell you that the
most distinguishing characteristics that a true
Mutia has is being "Compassionate, Strong, Kind,
Loving, Generous, Humble and has a very strong
Faith in God". I would like someday to visit Mutia,
Zamboanga del Norte. I have heard about this town
while growing up in Aloran, but never did realize
how meaningful this town existence to me, until
today. Thank you for creating a great website. It
is very informative. Please feel free to
communicate with me and tell me more about the
